In Case You Missed It: Bergen Arches Feasibility Study Meeting #1 Report

Technical data analysis is being done as part of the ongoing study, which is expected to be completed by this summer. Once finished, the study will be presented to the state and NJ Transit before Jersey City pushes for work to get started.

Jersey City Approves Contract to Revitalize Coles Street Underpasses

Jersey City officials approved a contract to massively overhaul several blocks of Coles Street with the aim of better connecting emerging neighborhoods. Plans include the creation of a raised bike lane, new lighting, and resurfacing deteriorated asphalt.

An Abandoned LIRR Line is Set to Become the High Line Park of Queens

A $117 million federal grant will help to transform a 3.5-mile stretch of abandoned Long Island Rail Road track into the QueensWay. The project will connect six different Queens neighborhoods and provide green space for the community.
